It’s interesting to look at the movements going on in countries, because it’s like nations are different people, and each movement is a thought going through that person’s mind.
There’s obviously a huge sentiment of people wanting less change, and quiet lives.
A movement that I hardcore support is the nagging voice at the back of our nation’s mind that its worldwide policies are dooming us to failure in the long run.
It’s not surprising that that particular thought isn’t strong in people’s minds, because it’s just a warning thought. But I wish more people would think in terms of the future.
To use another analogy, it’s like someone’s driving a car at fifty miles per hour, and only looking out their window to make sure they’re driving parallel to the curb.
But there’s someone in the backseat yelling “YOU’RE IN A TURN ONLY LANE”
