Day Seven: Your Favorite Language and Why
Continuing my 30 day challenge from about a month ago, lol.

My favorite language is probably English. That probably sounds really ethnocentric of me, but I have some good reasons.
It’s basically the awesome genius child of both French and Anglo-Saxon, which gives it such a big choice of words.
It’s the grandchild of latin, and the brother of german, both of which I’m also fascinated with.
Without conjugation of verbs and other stuff it’s awesome to make poetry meter with too.
Day Six: Your College Major Plans
I don’t plan my college much, I don’t like to think about it.
There’s just too much knowledge out there, and when I think about that I can’t acquire all of it, it depresses me.
Like, there’s no way I can become a novelist and high school teacher and writer and professor and scientist and astronaut and business executive and politician.
So right now, I’m going for a bachelor’s in psychology. It seems to be a broad enough subject that I can apply it to writing, or education reform, or whatever I feel like. Then, I can go back and get physics and/or math, aeronautics, computer science, ecology, linguistics, architecture, etc.
But what sucks is that all of those can be combined with each other to make badass things. Like, you mix ecology and architecture, and bam- you’re designing biodomes. Add in physics, and you’re designing a space colony.
Day Five: What You Think About School, and Your Savorite Subject
I think that school is a bunch of horseradish.
There are so many things wrong with public education, it’s almost easier to list off the things that they are doing right.
I think that as we study more into psychology, we learn more and more ‘tricks’ to get kids to learn things. And then we do nothing with those ideas.
For example, we’ve learned different stages of learning. We’ve learned that with children in general, creativity is planted early early early in life. And by adolescence, any preconceived notions are already defined.
So what do we do? Restrict kids when they’re little, and give them art options in high school.
I don’t know, there are ebbs and flows in learning versus age, and schooling should take advantage of them.
Day Four: Your Most Prized Possession
I think that my most prized possession, regrettably, is my laptop. It’s the thing that I use every day.
Oh snap, I take that back. My mind is my most prized possession. It’s the only thing that’s stayed with me (times I’ve lost it aside) throughout my life.
It’s why movies with lobotomies freak me out so much. Because no matter how much you try to crush someone, or try to make someone give up, it’s up to them if they want to give up.
No matter what circumstance you’re in, you can always think of a way out. Thinking is actually a resource, and it’s the most inexhaustible, in my opinion.
Day Three: Your favorite food and why

I love spaghetti. It’s a few food groups at once, with the potential to be all five healthy food groups in one, depending what you put in it.
It’s hardy, but it’s got carbs, so you get energy now and later.
Just too delicious, I can’t stand it.
Day Two: A stat card of yourself.

Name: Andre Nicholai
Height: 5’11”
Weight: 158lbs.

Day One: A photo of yourself

I really like this photo because it caught me off-guard (in a sense), you can tell by how my shirt is caught on my belt a little bit.
I also think it’s neat how the whole thing seems to be in soft focus.
